Senior Technical Program/Product Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Senior Technical Program/Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle of our [SaaS and/or On-Premise] software solutions across web and mobile platforms. This role demands a perfect blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, cross-functional leadership, and executional rigor.

You will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, working closely with all stakeholders including but not limited to potential customers, engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and sales teams to deliver products that solve real problems, delight users, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Requirements Gathering

  • Lead market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify unmet needs.
  • Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define product requirements and use cases.
  • Translate business goals and customer feedback into well-scoped, actionable Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and wireframes.

Product Design & Development

  • Work closely with customer, design and engineering to define MVPs and iterate toward product-market fit.
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog prioritization based on impact, effort, and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure effective documentation and communication of functional requirements, specs, and workflows.

Program Management & Execution

  • Manage cross-functional execution of programs using Agile/Scrum or other relevant methodologies.
  • Drive sprint planning, retrospectives, and delivery cadences with engineering and QA.
  • Track milestones, manage risks, remove blockers, and ensure on-time releases.

Go-to-Market & Positioning

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to craft compelling positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Support content creation for websites, collateral, demos, and product launches.
  • Enable sales teams with training, onboarding materials, and customer insights.

Lifecycle Ownership & Optimization

  • Define KPIs and success metrics; monitor usage, adoption, retention, and churn.
  • Use data-driven analysis to refine and optimize product features and customer experiences.
  • Champion customer advocacy through VOC programs, surveys, and feedback loops.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Program Management for B2B/B2C software products, preferably with both SaaS and on-premise experience.
  • Proven success managing full product lifecycle: from ideation and design to go-to-market and end-of-life.
  • Strong technical background or understanding of software development concepts (APIs, cloud infrastructure, mobile/web platforms).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with strong skills in tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or equivalents.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DevOps, security, or compliance-heavy industries (e.g., security, healthcare, finance).
  • Familiarity with user-centric design, UX research, and mobile-first development practices.
  • MBA, CS, or Engineering degree is a plus.
  • Experience launching products in multi-geographies or multi-tenant environments.
